Summary:
The genre for the film is a thriller/science fiction but it has multiple genre conventions that appear throughout the film. One of the main give aways that it is a Science fiction is that it is set in outer space and Joe has put in the quote "Dial that registers fluctuations of the iris"to give a example of its science fiction nature. The Sign that joe pointed out that it might be a thriller is declares police ID that iron his coat. This is a sign due to the fact that a lot of police dramas are usually thrillers due to the small villains that appear in them. The age range would be 13-40 year olds because the age range couldn't be lower due to the rating. Joe says that a few scenes would have been entertaining for the younger audiences due to the dialogue. He also goes on to say that it is suited to the male audience due to the violence and drinking involved in the opening scenes.
